The DMP Team Enjoy the Dizzy Heights of London Sky Garden
The DMP team enjoyed an impressive away day last week visiting the popular London Sky Garden on Fenchurch Street, aka the walkie talkie building.
As London’s highest public garden, the team enjoyed time out of the office while relaxing and soaking up the spectacular views across the capital.
The famous enlarged glass dome dedicated to three storeys of exquisitely landscaped public gardens. Although the weather was a little drizzly this didn’t stop us appreciate the breathtaking 360 degree views, able to spot landmarks far far away.
Interestingly, the sky gardens that are bursting with greenery and exotic plants is a massive 36 storeys high, with immediate views of The Tower of London and The Thames. The dome structure covering the garden is most impressive and a architectural marvel.
After all this fresh air and dizzy heights, we all came back down to earth and enjoyed a a taste sensation Turkish tapas dinner around the bustling Borough Market area.
For the green fingered members of the team, the inspiring Sky Garden has encouraged a new wave of enthusiasm for their own botanic oasis.
