Gravesend Department Store
DMP were approached by a large Commercial Consultancy who has offices in London, Liverpool and Edinburgh, to undertake a detailed Measured Survey.
Acting on behalf of the freeholder, the survey was to be utilised for the proposed new letting/subdivision works of an existing department store, situated in the middle of the Gravesend shopping district.
DMP were instructed to undertake the survey of the vacant three-storey retail property.
Circumstances were that the property was of interest to a potential Tenant taking out a new Lease, thus a timely turnaround of the survey report and prepared drawings was sought.
The DMP Solution
DMP’s team is trained to provide data and drawings of the highest quality, using the latest technology, methods and continual training, including the latest RICS Standard Measurement Practice. These skills were particularly called upon for this project.
The team dedicated themselves to undertake the detailed survey of all elements of the building including external areas and footprint of the building.
Our in-house Architectural Technicians developed the ‘as-existing’ drawings consolidating data and site measurements gathered by the DMP surveyors.
The survey and ‘as-existing’ drawings were then turned around in a timely manner and circulated.
