An on-going ‘Planning and Redeveloping pilgrimage’ finally concludes on North Downs Way in Lenham, in a newly, completed Flats and Retail Unit.
DMP are pleased to announce, following several years assisting our Client with this project, the goal has been reached to redevelop a multi-use site in the village of Lenham, Kent.
Following a devastating fire, the existing, 1960s built, ironmongery store finally saw completion. In its place stands a new local Co-operative Store and four; two-bedroom flats have now been provided.
The building’s new design portrays local vernacular architecture, in keeping with, local environment and the conservational area.
And to top it off, the property has even been successfully let out prior to handover.
So how did we help?!!
DMP have been heavily involved with the Planning process for this property.
In collaboration with Maidstone Borough Council, we have discharged Planning Conditions, prepared detailed Construction Drawings and bought together and overseen a professional team of experts to deliver a multitude of requirements and maintain standards, the Code for Sustainable Homes being one of them.
