Full Building & Drone Survey on
Magnificent Edwardian Family Home
DMP recently carried out a Full Building Survey and Aerial Drone Roof Survey of a detached six bedroom family home.
The elegant property, located in the village of Pembury near Tunbridge Wells, is also boosting a detached 2 bay garage, driveway, and well established front and rear gardens.
The period property occupies a desirable position a short walk from Pembury Village Centre.
During the survey it was evident the characterful property has light and bright accommodation across ground, first and second floors. In addition, on further investigation, the delightful garden provided several specimen trees including an Oak, a Wellingtonia and a Scots Pine. All of which are protected by Tree Preservation Orders.
DMP reports include detailed research on planning and building regulation matters, geology, flooding and Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). On average DMP spend 3 to 4 hours on each inspection to ensure no stone is left unturned. Importantly to record all details, photographs are included within the survey report, which our clients find useful.
Furthermore, as standard, we issue our clients with the full report, recommended essential/immediate repairs. This is a significant section of the report as our clients are able to budget and plan for future maintenance. Clients often renegotiate some of the costs during the purchase.
In this case, the repairs are to external decorations and upgrading of electrical and heating installations.
