Located in heart of Robertsbridge, East Sussex, DMP undertake a Full Building and Acquisition Survey on a traditional cottage.
Close to Robertsbridge Community College and the mainline station with great links to London. The characterful, although unlisted cottage has accommodation over 3 floors with large rear garden.
During the inspection DMP identified varying external immediate and essential repairs were required. Thus, in order to maintain existing building elements most importantly replacement of roof slates and possible timber roof structure.
From the internal inspection our surveyor established that the property required extensive internal refurbishment including replacement gas boiler, re-wiring and new electrical consumer unit.
Further recommendations including replacement uPVC double glazed units, new kitchen and bathroom sanitaryware.
As part of DMP’s Building Survey, we offer complementary Aerial Drone Roof Survey & Imaging. With this drone technology we were able to inspect the pitched slate roofs and varying interconnection with adjoining properties.
Importantly, all our reports include an additional defect analysis including costs for the client to review.
